Document and Track Law Enforcement Roll Call Training

LeoTableTalks helps agencies review recorded tactical and ethical discussion activity, with completion summaries and downloadable reports available to authorized administrators.

Start with the discussion record

In the tactical and ethical modules, a signed-in user can mark a card as discussed. The platform stores that user’s discussion status for the card and a timestamp when it is marked. The record connects the user, module and card.

This is a deliberate user action. Opening a page or displaying a scenario is not the same as marking it discussed. A useful documentation routine includes checking that the intended discussion status has been recorded after the session.

Review activity at agency and user level

Authorized agency administrators can review tactical and ethical completion summaries across their team. Agency reporting includes users’ module status and the cards they have marked as discussed.

Detailed user reports include module activity and discussed-card details such as title, week and discussion time where available. These views help an administrator understand recorded activity and identify where a follow-up conversation may be needed. They are available inside the authenticated administration area.

Export PDF and CSV reports

The existing administration tools provide agency and individual user reports in PDF and CSV formats. PDF supports a readable review of recorded activity; CSV provides rows that training personnel can work with in their established recordkeeping process.

Choose the report that matches the question being asked. An agency overview helps with a broad review. A detailed user report provides more information about an individual account’s discussion history. Report access remains subject to the platform’s existing agency and role permissions.

Distinguish account activity from attendance

A card marked by a supervisor records activity for that signed-in account. It does not automatically create an attendance record for every officer listening to the discussion. If a squad shares one screen, the agency should document the people present through its own attendance process.

Completion status also does not assess a person’s practical skill, understanding or readiness. LeoTableTalks reporting supports documentation of recorded discussion activity; it is not a certification, accreditation or guarantee that a training requirement has been met. The agency determines how these records fit its own requirements.

Build a clear recordkeeping routine

Decide who will mark discussions, who will review activity and where exported reports will be retained. Keep topic references and attendance records understandable to another supervisor reviewing the session later.

Use the agency’s established systems for rosters, additional notes and required approvals. Keep confidential cases and sensitive operational details out of the platform. The same routine across shifts makes the meaning of a discussion record clearer for supervisors and training personnel.
